Descend into the city's heart to visit Umananda Temple, the world’s smallest inhabited river island. Cross the mighty Brahmaputra by ferry, feeling the river’s force beneath you as you reach this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It’s an island of peace floating amidst turbulent waters — a balance of calm and chaos.
Day 3
Into the Heart of the Hills – Shillong Calling
Your journey begins after You have explored Guwahati in the most sustainable way, where our Radiant Routes trail guides are ready with warm smiles and a playlist full of indie travel beats. The hills call, and we answer.
We cruise towards Shillong, Meghalaya’s highland capital. En route, take your first deep breath by the glassy blue of Umiam Lake – your first glimpse of magic. Think forests, mist, and mirror-like reflections.
