Day 1: Guwahati – Dimapur (289 km / 7 hrs)

Your journey begins at Guwahati Airport, where our team will greet you warmly. We’ll drive to Dimapur, Nagaland’s gateway and largest city, once the ancient capital of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom.
Explore the fascinating ruins of the Kachari Kingdom in the evening — stories carved in stone that whisper of forgotten dynasties and river civilizations.
Overnight stay: Local homestay in Dimapur.

Day 2: Dimapur – Kohima (68 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, we head to Kohima — Nagaland’s capital nestled amidst rolling hills. The British once named it after the local “Kewhi” flower.
Enjoy a relaxed day exploring local markets, savor traditional Naga delicacies, and immerse yourself in the rhythm of this vibrant highland city.
Overnight stay: Homestay in Kohima.

Day 3: Kohima – Dzukou Valley (Trek)

Wake up early for the much-awaited adventure — the Dzukou Valley trek. From the base village of Viswema, trek for 2–3 hours through bamboo forests and mist-covered ridges to reach Dzukou Valley Rest House.
The sweeping view of the valley, surrounded by emerald mountains and endless skies, is a moment of pure peace.
Overnight stay: Dzukou Guest House / Campsite.

Day 4: Explore Dzukou Valley

Day 5: Heritage Trail of Kohima

Day 6: Kohima – Khonoma Green Village (20 km / 1 hr)

Day 7: Kohima – Tuophema – Wokha (77 km / 3 hrs)

Day 8: Explore Wokha & Doyang Dam

Day 9: Wokha – Jorhat (125 km / 4 hrs)

Day 10: Jorhat→ Guwahati (Departure)

After breakfast, we’ll trek further into the heart of the valley — often called “the Valley of Flowers of the East.” If luck is on your side, you may spot the rare Dzukou Lily, found nowhere else on earth.
Enjoy the calm of nature, breathe in the mountain air, and soak in the serenity before returning to Viswema by afternoon.

A day dedicated to heritage and history.
Visit:

Kohima Museum – representing all 16 tribes of Nagaland with artifacts, attire, and crafts.

Kohima War Cemetery – a serene tribute to soldiers of WWII.

Kohima Cathedral – one of the largest in Asia, overlooking the city.

Kisama Heritage Village – home to the world-famous Hornbill Festival, showcasing Nagaland’s living traditions.
Overnight stay: Homestay in Kohima.

Post breakfast, travel to Khonoma, India’s first green village — a model for sustainable living.
Home to the Angami tribe, Khonoma tells stories of resilience, eco-consciousness, and harmony with nature. Learn how the locals abandoned hunting to protect biodiversity, and engage with the community’s weaving and basketry traditions.
Return to Kohima by evening.
Overnight stay: Homestay in Kohima.

We drive to Tuophema Village, known for its ethnic tourism model and traditional-style huts. Enjoy authentic Naga cuisine and learn about local folklore before continuing to Wokha, the land of the Lotha tribe.
Overnight stay: Homestay in Wokha.

After breakfast, explore Wokha’s traditional markets and meet local artisans. Later, drive to Doyang Hydro Project Dam, a scenic lake popular for migratory birds and breathtaking sunsets.
Return to Wokha by evening.
Overnight stay: Homestay in Wokha.

After breakfast, drive to Jorhat, the cultural heart of Assam and gateway to tea country.
Spend a relaxed evening exploring local cafes or simply unwinding at your stay.
Overnight stay: Boutique homestay in Jorhat.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Guwahati, passing through scenic tea gardens and river valleys.
Reflect on the moments that defined your journey — the misty trails of Dzukou, Khonoma’s green philosophy, the laughter of Naga hosts, and the serenity of Wokha’s landscapes.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport by evening for departure.
