Day 1: Guwahati → Nameri (202 km / 5 hrs approx.)
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Station, where our guide will receive you. Begin your drive towards
Nameri National Park, Assam’s second tiger reserve. Spend the evening by a cozy bonfire at the
campsite, soaking in the wilderness atmosphere.

Day 2: Nameri → Ziro (270 km / 8 hrs approx.)
Start your day with an early morning jeep safari inside Nameri National Park. After breakfast,
continue your scenic drive towards Ziro Valley, your home for the next few days. Relax and enjoy
a traditional dinner after this long journey.

Day 3: Discovering Ziro Valley & Apatani Culture
After breakfast, step into the world of the Apatani tribe, known for their unique farming system
and vibrant culture. Walk through paddy fields and witness their ingenious wet rice cultivation that
thrives without animals or machines. Later, explore villages like Hong, Hari, and Hija, meeting
locals and learning about their way of life.

Day 5: Temples & Sacred Sites Around Ziro
Day 6: Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary
Day 7: Ziro → Nameri/Guwahati
Visit a Kiwi Winery and then continue your journey into villages such as Duta, Bula, Tajang,
Bamin Michi, and Mudang Tage. Learn about the Apatanis’ traditional ecological knowledge,
bamboo and cane craftsmanship, and vibrant community councils called Bulyan. This sustainable
way of life has led UNESCO to propose the tribe’s recognition as a World Heritage Site.

After breakfast, visit the Sree Siddheshwar Nath Temple, home to the world’s tallest natural
Shivling. Continue to Meghna Cave Temple, perched at 3,000 ft and believed to be over 5,000years old. The short climb rewards you with spiritual peace and sweeping valley views.

Venture into the Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, a dense forest plateau filled with silver fir and
pine trees. This pristine wilderness is home to rare species, including the elusive clouded leopard.
